TIG welding machine

TIG (GTAW) welding technology is widely accepted in pipe spool fabrication by owners all over the world, due to its high-quality performance. It has following advantages:

1. The weld quality is good.
2. The arc is stable and there is no spatter.
3. No flux, no slag cleaning.
4. The thermal conductivity of argon is less, and the heat of the arc is concentrated.

NAEC designed pipe welding machine can adopt TIG for automatic root, fill and cap pass.
For TIG welding, there is also cold wire TIG welding, hot wire TIG welding and pulse TIG welding.
Usually for pipe diameter no less than 6inch, pipe thickness more than 5mm, cold wire TIG can be used. For big size pipe, hot wire TIG is recommended. For small size pipe, pulse-TIG is recommended.

For TIG welding, we recommend wire is φ1.2mm. During TIG welding, the welding speed can reach 100 to 140mm per min.

Surely our welding machine can not only implement TIG welding, it can also implement RMD for root pass, GMAW, SAW for fill and cap pass. All of those welding technologies can be realized by using one welding power source.

We have programmed 40sets WPS in the touch screen, operators just need to select the suitable one.
